I have been gushed down your throat so many times
yet you say “it’s too soon for me to digest your words”
You keep making this harder for both of us
and I keep trying to dissuade you with my indifference
We are slipping through the pages of our fairy tale
where the time crawls on our bellies;
yet another wrinkle on your skin
and another life time passed
I believe in what you see
yet you say “It’s too dark for me to start walking.”
and we are back to where we had begun
So I keep trying to make you hear my thoughts
with your ears deafened by your silence
and here I am as I was before
standing at the facade of your existence;
yet you say “You’re too far to be reached.”
No, there is no easy way to believe without faith
So don’t think I will make promises of home coming
while I turn away writing you a love poem
with its pages as blank as my own face
and if you like, you can close your eyes
before I jump in what you cannot see

Welcome back. You were missed.
Beautifully written, as always.
Nice to see you back to your poetic ways... another masterpiece, sort of trying to fathom our walls, when they keep crumbling in oblivion
